Welcome to Our Farm!

The Fournier Family moved to their current property in 2019 and decided they wanted to raise chickens in order to have their own fresh eggs available daily.

In 2022, Kyle ordered way more baby chicks than the family needed. After talking to a few friends, the Fourniers realized there was an untapped market for ‘started pullets,’ 16-week-old hens.

They found that any people do not want to deal with raising baby chicks; the brooder, the lights, the mess, the smell, and the inability to leave the chicks for long periods of time… so Scott Valley Poultry Farm was born!

Their first batch of 25 pullets sold within a weekend via word of mouth and one Facebook post.
